Walls Close In: A Home Confinement Story
The boundaries of my home became like a safe space. Now they smother, a constant reminder of my confined existence. Days merge into one another, marked only by the chime of the clock and the heavy weight in my chest. Every noise from outside is a cruel reminder of the life I left behind.
I stumble through these unbearable rooms, searching for some hint of light. The sunlight that once danced across my floor now seem uncaring, and the stillness is heavy.

Living on Lockdown
Life as we experienced it has drastically changed. The world outside our doors is a blur of its former glory. We are now stuck within the limits of our homes, forced to adapt to a new normal. The days melt, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, consuming media, and eating. We crave for the simple pleasures that were once taken for granted: a stroll in the park, a meal with friends, or even just a conversation without a screen separating us.
This new existence has created challenges, but it has also unveiled unexpected qualities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more understanding, more creative, and more appreciative for the simple things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are ahead.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a brutal reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable wall. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just that symbolic distance of six feet.
Sometimes, the burden of those bars feels suffocating. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. The constant ticking of time serves as a stark reality that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be liberated. That day might seem impossible, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure for freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to restriction. This occurs when the very notion of freedom becomes twisted, transforming into a tool for control and suppression.
True freedom entails not only the absence for external constraints but also the nurturing of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even amidst a society that preaches freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the limitations of their own beliefs.
Consequently, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to break free the obstacles that impede our potential, both externally and internally.
